Byblos Shoes

Byblos was established in 1973. At the very beginning, Byblos' emphatic style was due to the then young creative genius of Gianni Versace (1977-1979) followed by the French designer Guy Paulin (1979-1982); but essential to Byblos' success and longevity was the long collaboration between the two English designers, Keith Varty and Alan Cleaver (1981-1996).

Their innovative and original style rapidly became recognised worldwide. Today the new design objectives have been entrusted to an extremely talented team composed of Manuel Facchini, Stefano Citron, Greg Myler and Federico Piaggi. The new identity for the Byblos men's and women's collections has a clear consistent style characterized by specific colour, material and line. The prints give a strong brand identity using innovative pattern and technique, matched with superlight knitwear and backed by extensive fabric research.

A coherent style translating into a distinctive and individual image. This is the concept that sets the Byblos product apart. Wearability, immediate appeal and essential detailing are at the heart of the new Byblos world.
